By popular demand, today we are introducing a small yet very handy feature to TELTUB. If you are used to 7-digit dialing, you can easily achieve that now. All you need to do is:

  • Log into TELTUB
  • From menu select Profile->Account
  • Towards the bottom of the page, there is a setting called Local Dialing Prefix. Set it to your country+area code (e.g. 1512 if you live in Austin, 1 is US country code, and 512 is Austin's main area code).
  • Press Save and start dialing 7-digit for local numbers.

Additional Notes:
The feature works for all areas that have local numbers from 5 to 8 digits (inclusive) local numbers.
For example, if you live in London UK, your Local Prefix can be set to 4420 and then you can dial 8-digit numbers of London city ...
This will work reliably, without the need to set dialing rules on your VoIP adapters. It also works regardless of how you access TELTUB to put outgoing calls.
